광주 김대중컨벤션센터와 홀리데이인 호텔에서 열리는 ‘BIXPO 2018’은 한전이 앞으로 나아갈 바를 조금이나마 보여드리고 세계와 함께 기술을 교류하고 미래 비전을 창출할 수 있는 중요한 자리입니다.
‘Energy Transition & Digital Transformation’이라는 주제를 내세운 ‘BIXPO 2018’에서는 미래 전력에너지 분야를 선도할 핵심 기술을 접하게 될 것입니다.
이를 위해 글로벌 기업과 국내 대기업 등 280개에 이르는 기업들이 신기술전시회에 참여하고, 국제발명특허대전에서는 160개의 혁신적인 아이디어를 선보입니다. 또 국제컨퍼런스는 Energy Leaders Summit, Smart City Leaders Summit을 포함한 총 48개의 세션으로 열띤 토론을 펼치게 됩니다.
BIXPO는 2015년 첫 개최 이래 질적, 양적인 성장을 거듭해 왔으며, 지난해 열린 ‘BIXPO 2017’에서도 많은 성과를 기록했습니다. 참관객이 7만여 명에 이르렀고 268개 기업이 신기술 전시회에 참여했으며 국제발명특허대전에는 해외 발명품 60개를 포함해 총 152개의 발명품이 출품돼 큰 인기를 끌었습니다.
그리고 세계 각국의 전력관련 전문가들이 토론을 벌인 국제컨퍼런스는 25개 분야 38개 세션의 프로그램으로 활발하게 운영됐으며, 14억7,000만달러의 수출 상담을 달성했습니다.
'BIXPO 2018’에서는 친환경 중심의 에너지 전환과 디지털 변환에 대한 에너지 패러다임의 대대적인 변화에 주목합니다.
2박 3일 행사 기간동안 전력산업계의 발전을 도모하는 뜻깊은 시간 보내시고 다가오는 미래를 눈으로 확인하시기 바랍니다.

First of all, thank you for the consistent support on KEPCO.
For the last 120 years, KEPCO supplied high-efficiency & high-quality power to silently support the industrial development of Korea. Based on the performances, KEPCO will go beyond Korea in search for growth engine to preoccupy the global business market.
Also, Energy Valley will be developed into the world’s No. 1 energy knowledge industry cluster to play the role of the pioneer to lead the development of Gwangju·Jeonnam, and to enable Korea to become the power nation on energy. ‘BIXPO 2018’ held in Gwangju Kim Dae-jung Convention Center and in Holiday Inn Hotel will be an important event that will introduce the future plan of KEPCO, exchange technologies with the world, and to create future vision.
‘BIXPO 2018’ under the theme of ‘Energy Transition & Digital Transformation’ will introduce core technologies that will lead the future power energy field. To enable this, 280 global and large domestic companies will participate in this new technology exhibition, and 160 innovative ideas will be presented in the International Invention & Patent Fair.
Also, the International Conference holds 48 sessions including the Energy Leaders Summit and Smart City Leaders Summit to have heated discussions.
Since BIXPO was first held in 2015, it has continued quantitative growth, and great performances were recorded in the last year’s ‘BIXPO 2017’.
There were 70,000 visitors with 268 companies participating in the new technology exhibition, and the International Invention & Patent Fair was submitted with 152 inventions including 60 foreign inventions to be of great popularity. Also, power experts from all around the world participated in the discussions in the International Conference to actively operate 38 sessions in 25 fields, and a total of USD 1.47 billion export consultations were accomplished.
In the ‘BIXPO 2018’, conversion into eco-friendly energy and extensive changes in the energy paradigm regarding the digital transformation are to be given attention.
We hope that visitors and participants will have meaningful time in this 3-day event on promoting the development of the power industry to witness the upcoming future.
