지난 반세기 동안 국내외 전력망 구축사업을 이끌며 전 세계 고객들에게 최고의 기술력과 제품을 제공하는 등 글로벌 기업으로 성장했다. 최근에는 세계 최대규모의 단일전선 생산공장인 당진공장을 필두로 아시아, 중동, 미국, 호주, 유럽 등 주요 선진시장으로 시장을 확대하며 매출의 절반 이상을 해외에서 창출하고 있다.
대한전선은 BIXPO 2017 전시회에 2년 연속 참가해 우수한 제품 및 기술력을 홍보할 예정이다. 특히 올해는 세계 각국에 납품된 고객 맞춤형 제품 전시를 통해 대한전선만의 경쟁력을 강조할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
북미 최초로 수행한 500kV 프로젝트를 비롯해 싱가포르 400kV, 영국 400kV 등 세계 각국에서 수행한 프로젝트와 제품들이 전시될 예정이다. 이외에도 한국전력과 함께 진행한 다양한 프로젝트, 창립 62주년을 맞아 새롭게 바뀐 CI에 대한 소개도 함께 이뤄져 국내외 관람객들의 이목을 끌 것으로 보인다.
